The Andaman Master
A double-height corner suite with a freestanding stone bath set before the glass, a private plunge terrace, and a bed angled squarely at the sunset.
A private clifftop villa above Kamala Beach, where an infinity pool spills toward the Andaman Sea and every sunset is yours alone.
Reserve your stayVilla Suria was built into the headland above Kamala in 2019, a single home carved into the slope so that the sea is never out of view — from the pool, the kitchen island, the bath, and each of the three suites.
It belongs to Marisa and Thomas, a Thai–British couple who spent fifteen years between Bangkok and London before deciding the good life was the one with the horizon in it. They restored the site slowly, planting frangipani and travellers' palms, and now open the villa to a handful of guests each season while living quietly in the guest wing next door.
What you get is not a resort. There is no lobby, no queue, no wristband — only a house that is genuinely lived in and cared for, a cook who will make green curry from the garden's own limes, and a host who is here when you need her and invisible when you don't. Kamala Beach is a four-minute drive down the hill; Phuket's west-coast sunsets are a nightly event on the terrace.
Each suite opens to the sea through full-height glass and its own stretch of terrace. Rates are per night for the whole villa on exclusive use; individual suites are the way we describe the rooms within it.

Calmer and cocooned, wrapped in teak and cream linen, opening onto the frangipani garden and a shaded reading corner — the room guests ask to return to.
A ground-level suite that slides fully open to the infinity pool, so morning coffee and an early swim happen in the same three steps. Ideal for a second couple.
The list is short because nothing here is an upsell. It simply comes with the house.

"We have stayed in a lot of villas. None felt this personal. The sunset from that pool ruined every other view for us."
"Marisa arranged a longtail boat for our anniversary and had the cook prepare dinner on the terrace. I still think about that green curry."
"The house is even better than the photos, which almost never happens. Spotless, silent air-con, and the beach really is four minutes down the hill."
"Booked the whole villa for six of us. Everyone got their own view. We cooked, we swam, we did nothing at all — exactly what we wanted."
